Dirt Cutting Head
Designed for lasting durability, the Barbco BBC25 Dirt Cutting Head withstands your most demanding auger boring job. Built with an initial 1-1/2” thick A36 steel plate, reinforced with a second piece of steel for a study 3”-thick cutting head. Easily extend the life of your cutting head by replacing the hex drive, wings and cutters, as needed. Customize your cutting head order with extra banks or an optional drift reducing ring. When used correctly, cutting head rings enable the tool to concentrically cut a hole in front of the casing, significantly reducing the drift to the right. Shown with optional drift ring.

To build the cutting head, we start with a 1-1/2” thick A36 steel plate and reinforce it with a second piece of steel to create a solid, 3”-think frame. Comprised of two banks of rock piercing dirt cutters and lead bits, we offer replacement parts for those, the over cutters and hex drive, so you can maximize your return on investment. Stump/Soft Rock Cutting Head
Slice through tree roots with the Barbco BBC75 Stump/Soft Rock Cutting Head. The tool’s face cutters are mounted through a 7/8” thick plate and retained with a roll pin on the back side of the head. Featuring two banks each with two rows of cutters, it provides a 100 percent cutting pattern.
