Sand Auger
When boring in loose sandy soil conditions, the right equipment is critical. The Barbco sand auger has a 12” pitch to hold back running sand. That’s compared to a standard auger, which has a 24” pitch and allows twice the sand into the auger string with every revolution. When ground conditions lack stability, using a Barbco sand auger greatly reduces the risk of creating sink holes in the road.

Custom Auger
When your project calls for custom performance, Barbco offers specialized augers to meet your needs. Barbco has developed and manufactures custom augers designed to fit your bore, so you can select the size, shape and material required.
For projects with coated pipes or fiberglass casings, we have plastic laminated augers with 1” thick nylon on the outer edge. Designed for versatile performance, once the laminate is removed, this tool functions as a standard auger.
