Guided Boring Machine
In any boring application, line and grade accuracy is often crucial. The Barbco Pathfinder Guided Boring Machine (GBM) system allows you to bore with the utmost precision. We’ve combined the proven technology of a pilot tube steering system with the dependability of a conventional auger boring machine to deliver accurate casing installations up to 60” diameter. The Pathfinders unique design includes an option to power itself with the auger boring machine being used to complete the bore.
While competitor GBM systems boast a compact size, we’ve intentionally built a robust system to pack more rotary torque, so you have the power you need to get the job done. Choose from two models: the PF500 or the PF1000.

BMTA
Boring Machine Tunneling Attachment
Available in 48″- 84″
When line and grade are critical to your project’s success, the Barbco Boring Machine Tunnel Attachment (BMTA) is the equipment of choice. Designed for large-scale tunneling, the BMTA features an individually powered cutting head, separate from the boring machine’s power supply. The attachment’s controls provide 360-degree steering control, so you can ensure the accuracy of your bore. Designed for soft-ground and mixed-ground bores, the BMTA is also equipped with a quick disconnect ring for easy detachment from the casing when the bore is complete.
